Reflection Journal 2

So far this has been my favourite session in the production lab because the briefing we had was really funny but at the same time very enriching. Yet again production lab had me questioning on what "Beauty" was and how it relates to our potential future careers.When it came to the mission, I was wondering how the pieces that inspired us or has had an impact in our lives which we found "beautiful" were suppose to help us do the project. So when it came to sharing it with my group, I was rather skeptical. But then i realised that the things we were sharing with one another all had a common theme to them, which was that all 3 of us were scared to take the risk of pursuing a music-related career but these pieces inspired us to pursue them. When we realised this, we felt really happy because its something that all of us could relate to and we used that relatable experience to write a song that expressed how we feel about the paths we've chosen. Although it may not be as catchy or upbeat as the last song we did, this song is something we are most proud of because it reveals our passion for music and our drive to pursue it. We really took our time to make this song and mainly focus on the lyrics instead of the melody because we wanted to deliver a message. From the 2 sessions, they are really eye opening towards the music scene and it has really taught me alot. I'm looking forward to more.
